Why family matters in a mafia RPG
In the world of organized crime, no one works alone. A family gives you the strength, resources, and protection needed to survive and thrive in the harsh underworld. Without a family, a mafiosi’s power is limited. Being in a family opens up opportunities for collaboration, strategic planning, and even financial gain through shared resources and rackets. Whether you’re working together in PVP battles or pooling resources to build a powerful compound, the family system in Mafia Syndicate provides the backbone for every significant action. Joining or creating a family also adds 1 skill point to your defence skills.
Starting a family: minimum rank and investment
To create your own family, you need to reach a minimum rank—Rank 7, Lieutenant. Once you’ve achieved this, you can invest 1,000,000 to start your family. This initial investment ensures you’re serious about running a powerful operation. Starting your own family gives you control over how it functions, from leadership roles to strategic objectives.
Growing your family: from 10 to 50 members
At the start, a family can have up to 10 members. But as your family grows in strength and reputation, you can rank up your family to allow up to 50 members. This system ensures that smaller families can thrive without being immediately overshadowed by larger ones, while also encouraging long-term growth. As you recruit more members, your family’s power and influence in the game increase dramatically. Ranking is done through the family compound, where your headquarters is located. The higher tiered ranked, the more members your family can hold.
Family structure: the board, spokesperson & treasurer
A family in Mafia Syndicate isn’t just a collection of players; it’s a well-structured organization. We offer a predefined leadership hierarchy that helps in managing the family efficiently:
1. The Board: The top decision-makers of the family. They handle the most crucial family decisions, from setting strategic objectives to managing territories.
2. Spokesperson: The communication bridge between the family and external players. They handle recruitment and serve as the point of contact for other families.
3. Treasurer: This position is responsible for managing the family’s finances, including overseeing income from rackets, compound management, and payouts to members.
This clear division of roles ensures that every aspect of the family is well-managed and that power and responsibilities are equally distributed among the top ranks.
Family compound: building power together
Your family’s compound is the physical manifestation of your power. The compound offers a range of buildings and facilities that can benefit the entire family. At launch, two critical facilities are available:
1. Power Hub: The lifeblood of the compound. It costs money to run, but it’s necessary to keep the compound operational. Without it, none of the other facilities, like the bullet factory, will work.
2. Bulletfactory: A critical asset for any mafia family. This facility allows you to produce bullets that can be used by the family in PvP / PvE battles or sold to others for profit.
Each facility can be upgraded, providing better resources and benefits as the family grows stronger. Managing the compound well can mean the difference between surviving and dominating.
Family stats: keeping track of your empire
We understand the importance of staying informed. That’s why we provide a comprehensive family stats system. This gives the board a clear overview of everything happening within the family—from finances, bullets to upcoming events. With these stats, you can strategically plan the next moves for your family, ensuring you’re always one step ahead of the competition.
Family Discord: communication is key
To ensure seamless communication, Mafia Syndicate allows you to link your family discord directly to the family page. This integration ensures that all members are on the same page, whether planning a raid, coordinating a defense, or simply hanging out. Keeping communication tight is crucial for executing successful strategies, and Discord makes it easy to stay connected.
Dynamic territory system: the real game begins
Most importantly, owning a family opens up access to the “dynamic territory system”. This is where the true game of power begins. Families will battle for control over territories, each offering lucrative rewards and increasing your family’s overall standing.
Territories are key, where the strongest families fight for ultimate dominance. With time, your family could rule entire countries, expanding its influence across the game’s world. This includes, getting paid per crime in the country you dominate and many other perks worth fighting over.
