How to set up your Mafia Syndicate account

Before you can rise through the criminal underworld, you need to set up your Mafia Syndicate account. This guide will walk you through creating a secure, unique profile — one that marks your legacy from the very beginning.

1. Use a unique email address

Each account must be linked to a valid and unique email address. This ensures account security and enables recovery features if needed. Do not use shared or temporary email services.

2. Choose your mafiosi name (carefully)

Your gangster name is permanent and cannot be changed later. Choose something that fits your character and style.

  • Gangster names must be unique
  • Offensive or impersonating names are not allowed
  • This name will appear everywhere: in rankings, messages, and your public profile

3. Choose your title: Godfather or Godmother

Your title helps define your role in the Syndicate. Choose between Godfather or Godmother. This has no impact on gameplay, but it’s a key part of your identity.

  • This title appears on your profile and public legacy
  • You can lead, command, and rule with either title
  • Each title has different names for different ranks

4. Set up two-factor authentication (2FA)

We require multi-factor authentication (MFA) through Google Authenticator to protect your account and enforce fairness.

  • Only one authenticator is supported per phone
  • You’ll scan a QR code during account setup
  • Backup codes should be saved in a secure location
  • We do not support SMS or email-based 2FA for security reasons

5. Verify Your Mobile Number (SMS Verification)

To help prevent duplicate accounts and protect the fairness of the game, Mafia Syndicate requires mobile phone verification via SMS.

  • You’ll receive a one-time verification code during signup
  • Each mobile number can only be used for one account
  • This is an additional layer of anti-cheat protection, alongside 2FA

We take account security and integrity seriously — our goal is to ensure that every player starts on a level playing field.

6. Upload your avatar (GIFs Supported)

Make your gangster visually stand out by uploading a custom avatar.

  • You may use static images or animated GIFs
  • Only appropriate content is allowed
  • Square aspect ratio recommended for best display across the game

7. Create a Strong Password

Security is a priority. Your password must be secure and only known to you.

Minimum requirements:

  • At least 12 characters
  • One uppercase letter
  • One lowercase letter
  • One number
  • One special character

We recommend using a password manager or vault to store your credentials safely.

We will never ask for your password. Do not share it with anyone.
