Ranks in Mafia Syndicate

In Mafia Syndicate, ranks represent your position within the criminal hierarchy. As you complete actions and earn experience points (XP), you will automatically rise through the ranks — showing the world how far you’ve come.

Ranks do not affect gameplay mechanics directly but are a key indicator of your activity and legacy in the game. The game is open and without paywalls or restrictions.

How rank progression works

• All players begin at Rank 1: Bacteria
• You rank up by earning XP (experience points)
• XP is gained through actions such as completing jobs, missions, and other gameplay interactions
• Ranks update automatically when specific XP milestones are reached
• At signup, you choose a title: Godfather or Godmother. This determines how your rank titles appear in-game
• Ranks are purely progression-based and cannot be skipped, purchased, or reset

Each rank includes a male and female version, depending on the title selected during account setup:

• Bacteria / Bacteria
  The lowest rung, just starting out in the world of crime.
• Street Rat / Street Mouse
  A petty criminal, scraping by on small-time jobs.
• Thug / Thug
  Gaining a bit of notoriety, involved in more dangerous activities.
• Henchman / Henchwoman
  Trusted with more important tasks by higher-ups.
• Enforcer / Enforcer
  Responsible for collecting debts and enforcing the family’s will.
• Associate / Associate
  An outsider who is closely linked to the crime family.
• Lieutenant / Lieutenant
  Commands respect and leads larger operations.
• Underboss / Underbossin
  The right-hand person of the boss, managing day-to-day activities.
• Counselor / Counselor
  Offers strategic advice and guidance to the higher-ups.
• Regent / Local Bossin
  Head of a local part of the family, commanding significant respect.
• Local Boss / Bossin
  Supervises various operations and territories.
• Boss / Elder
  A senior member with considerable influence and control.
• Crime Lord / Crime Lady
  Controls extensive territories and operations.
• Kingpin / Queenpin
  A major figure in the crime world.
• Godfather / Godmother
  The highest rank, the ultimate leader of the mafia.

Notes on rank titles

• All ranks are earned in order — there are no shortcuts
• Your rank is visible to other players throughout the game
• Titles may be used in leaderboards, profiles, and other public displays
• The title system is designed to reflect status, not unlock power advantages
